0-0 tie.. I'm proud..IMO this was some of the worse playing we've done..shot after shot and no one can put in the net....thought perhaps the coaching would be better tonight but was wrong there also...only one sub tonight.. we needed fresh offensive legs in to get the goal.. i guess a tie is better than a loss.

I don't even have the motivation to comment on tonight's match. After a day of incredible WC action, to see the lack of finishing by RSL leaves me feeling apathetic...

I cannot believe that we didn't score tonight. Klein played horribly tonight, like he has in the past few games. He made the runs, which is good, but he messed up the play every single time. He either tripped, messed up the cross, or gave up the ball.

The finishing was just plain atrocious. Jeff's one on one with reis hit the crossbar. How can a one on one hit the crossbar!?!?

I was actually pleased with our back line tonight, it'll be hard for Eddie to find a spot in the lineup. Douglas shouldn't have a hard time, as Kenny is still hurt (thank goodness). Willis Forko is a solid defender.

Why was Mehdi playing defensive midfield today?
He didn't school anyone today, and that's his job.

I think that we held up Twellman very well.

And one more thing, get up Cancela!

The reason RSL went on a 4-match unbeaten streak is because Cunny was firing on all cylinders. He is the only real striker RSL has.

The reason RSL is now on a 3-match non-winning streak is because Cunny ain't finding the back of the net.

When RSL gets another real striker and stops depending on Cunny for our success is when we might become consistent.

How things can change! A couple of weeks ago, RSL was hotter than hot. Now RSL is just plain cold.

I was pleased with the midfield play and the build up today. I didn't see them giving the ball away and they seemed pretty fluid. That was nice. Finishing terrible just like everyone has been saying. Quick comment on the hot streak...Cunny was coming in off the bench...could we please go back to that.

The fact that New England went into a bunler near the end does say something.

Maybe the heat, the plastic and the altitude got to them. Maybe our new D Mid Mehdi got to them. Maybe it was some combination.

But Rice Eccles used to be a place where visitors could always count on 3 points. Now, 1 seems to be good enough.

I agree. This is a definite improvement over previous play. But we obviously still need more improvement.

The finishing was terrible but I quite enjoyed the rest of the game.

Garlick was good with the few balls that went his way, he even grabbed a couple on crosses and long feeds.

Torres saved our hide a couple of times.

I thought the build up all day was awesome and we made the rev's defense look cobbled together which apparently is the situation. This is only their second game even attempting 4 on the backline and we exploited that well, aside from the finishing.

We also came out inspired and attacking to start the game. They pressured for 90 minutes which is an improvement.

I like the lineup of Kreis on the left and Attiba and Cunny up top, that could be pretty dangerous if someone could remember to pass to Jason when he is open at the top of the box.

If the ball could have hit the back of the net a couple of times I would say this was one of the best games RSL has played. They dominated but just could not finish.

I can't wait to see the lineup once we slide Eddie and Douglas back in and they get comfortable.

The tie was a letdown but there are some signs of hope. That was entertaining soccer. Now fill up the back of the net and it will be a lot more fun.
