I'm not surprised that the US was sent packing. I had predicted that Italy and Czech Rep. would go through. So the US coming home isn't hard. Its how they lost that's hard.

Italy pummeled Czech Rep. in the third match 2-0, leaving the door wide open for the US to advance, but the US couldn't deliver the goods.

So the end result didn't surprise me, but it left a bitter after taste because of how it occurred.
