Cunny might've had a deflection. Medhi sounds like it was a great pass from Klein + Medhi's speed.

I'm ready for Ellinger to make a defensive substitution.

If we lose tonight because of only having three defenders, I say FIRE ELLINGER! Even after the 3-0 win.

Sorry, could you say that again, I didn't catch that ...

We won! We have a winning streak! Medhi had a great goal. And jeff did, too.

I love being an rsl fan!

Good to see RSL get it's first win at home in this year.

Can RSL win 3 games in a row for the first time ever? If they do, it'll be against the Rapids at home next saturday.

LA - Rapids comment from tonight
[result]

The Rapids did not look good at all. LA missed a ton of good chances. Basically, once CO scored their goal in the first half they let LA take it to them for the rest of the game. Coundoul had a great game for them but the clean sheet was just as much luck as skill as LA missed several close chances. If CO plays that bad at RES next saturday, RSL should be walking out with a 2-0 win.

Actually, Cunningham's goal was a thing of beauty as well. He got a pass from Kries or Klein coming up the right side, and he dribbled into the box from the upper right corner and pushed the defender back farther and farther (the defender didn't pressure him for fear of having Cunny make a move around him, and instead backed up to keep himself between Cunny and the goal mouth), but as they got closer diagonally towards the goal and towards the end line, Cunny made a move to get around the defender and had a really tight angle shot that somehow made the far post and ricochet'ed in. Very nicely done.
