You were the only one missing Williams. I think Real is playing "a man down" if Williams is on the field. I'm going to yell, "Ole" every time he throws his arms in the air in disgust. Who's with me?

I am!

I think that Ellinger needs to realize that the reason we have ever won is not Andy Williams. We won last week without him. Keep Ballouchy in A-Mid and play a 4th defender! Just because KC doesn't have Wolff or EJ doesn't mean that they can't score! They still have Arnaud, Sealy, etc.

If we lose tonight because of only having three defenders, I say FIRE ELLINGER! Even after the 3-0 win.

Wizards fans wanting to see old favorite Chris Klein in person will have to wait a while. Real Salt Lake, the team that acquired Klein from the Wizards in the offseason for allocation cash, isn’t scheduled to visit Arrowhead Stadium until Sept. 30.

The Wizards, however, won’t have to wait that long.

In fact, they won’t have to wait but for a few more hours. They’ll take on Real Salt Lake at 8 tonight at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City.

Klein, whose only professional home had been in Kansas City with the Wizards the last eight seasons, is looking forward to it.

ABOUT THE WIZARDS

Tonight’s match marks the fourth Wizards road game in the last five weeks. The Wizards, who lost for the second time this season last Saturday at D.C. United, need to start finding a way to score goals. The team is loaded with offensive firepower — even with Eddie Johnson and Josh Wolff gone — and yet they’ve been able to get just one ball in net in each of their previous five games.

ABOUT REAL SALT LAKE

Real Salt Lake is coming off a gigantic first victory of the season last Saturday — a 3-0 blowout over defending MLS Cup champion Galaxy in Carson, Calif. The win snapped Salt Lake’s MLS-record 18-game winless streak.

BOTTOM LINE

Obviously, these are two teams that went in opposite directions last Saturday. But the Wizards hardly were throttled in the loss to D.C. They’re 2-0-0 against Salt Lake, and the bet here is they’ll have the moxie and talent to bounce back.

As for Williams, he may not score goals (or play much defense) but he does change the dynamic of games when he is on the field (he wasn't the team MVP last season for nothing and I really see almost no difference in how he is playing this year when compared with the same point last season.). I missed seeing him play, but I would Mehdi in the middle with Williams on the wing if it were me.
