Now when you say "attendance continues to drop", you actually mean that it's dropped for the first time this season. RSL has had only three home games.
Game 1 = 16,132
Game 2 = 16,427
Game 3 = 15,804
By my count, attendance went up from Game 1 to 2 and dropped for the first time to Game three. And if you look at the attendance at the last couple of home games last year, we're above that as well.

I'm actually surprised attendance isn't lower. It is lower than last year but that is to be expected since the "newness" of the team has worn off.

16k average or 15k average is still strong and better than alot of MLS teams. I wouldn't worry about attendance until it starts getting down to 11k or 10k per game. Hopefully we never get to that point but we do need to win some damn games.

FYI, Kansas City's attendance is frightening and they have a good winning team. Last night their attendance was 8,138.

It's 89 minutes and 50 seconds of concentration.

That is what the game is every time we play. We play well but there is always one breakdown that we have and it always results in a goal. Do we need a better keeper, or a better coach? I'd like to see Nolly play and if we still lose every game, Fire Ellinger.

Compared to last season, attendance continues to drop...

I'm too lazy to check.

Has our attendence dropped even once you factor out the US Costa Rica double header?

Average last year without the USA game: 16,533

Average so far this year: 16,121

Interestingly, last year's average put us in second place if you took out all the inflated numbers for other teams too. Last year's league average was 15,610.

This year, we're number eight. Why? Because overall more teams are doing better at the gate. This year's league average is 16,998, and that has held steady since the first week.

I'd say we're doing better than I expected, considering how the team is doing. The big question--how long will it last?

It looks like, yet again, many of you saw a different game than I did. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to attend the game so I was left to watch it on the Internet this morning from MLS. This game looked again like the Red Bull game in which we dominated, but somehow didn't come away with the win. Ballouchy looked like an absolute superstar out there!!!!!!!!!! He is seriously brilliant with the ball. I predict he'll be playing for the Nats very soon! If you haven't seen the video of this thing, I highly recommend you take a look. Your pessimistic outlook on this game may change!

I don't even know what to say anymore. You, Barney and Mr. Rodgers will be the only 3 people supporting this club in the very near future unless Ellinger is out on his ass.
