There is free parking at the city center building on Saturdays whch is across from the City county building.

So are you in?

Channel 2 has the main street studio now. Why not make a bunch of signs and hold them up behind the anchors while they do the news? If 100 peopled showed up to do that it would look like a mob from their tight camera angles.

Good point. I just think that it's best to get a large amount of people to support something, because if we don't, it could backfire. I can see it now:

"5 people marched on the county building wearing RSL gear and totting signs in support of a stadium deal. When asked where the other soccer fans in the state were, their only response were shoulder shrugs." :P

I'm not trying to be the pessimist here (although it's turning out to be very easy these days), I'm trying to keep things from getting worse. If there's going to be a march, I believe it should be well attended, and doing it on the spur of the moment probably won't acheive that.

They don't let signs be held up... they have security chase you off... I tried last year after the bramble idiot killed the RDA funding.

We might get them to come to us tho if we have a dozen or so peeps walking up 4th south with signs and stuff!

So we are talking Saturday before the tailgate...so meet at the capital at 5pm? Or maybe earlier since the game starts at 7pm.

OK so we can expect to see you there so it will be six then?

it is all fine and good to say we need to do this and we need to do that... but it is a whole other thing to actually do something about it!

Why not try flash mob style? I don't think 3 security gaurds could do much if 100 poeple came flooding in for 1 minute an then left just as quickly. Everyone syncronize your watches and set a time.

I was actually thinking we start at 4pm so we can walk up and have a burger and a drink at the tailgate...
Also it would be better to go from the city/county building on 400 south and state... up to RES!
