I understand the fire Ellinger sentiment but does Aurelius really have to start 30 threads and polls this way. This board looks like the entire RSL nation wants hime gone but all of these threads really only feature the same 3 people.

If I'm placing a bet, my money is on Sampson. They're just waiting for things to go poorly enough to have an excuse to let him go. The fans despise him and the team knows he lucked out in the play offs last year.

I would not put my money on Ellinger. As popular as that may seem, the team stuck by the guy last fall after he went 2-19-3 including winless in their last 12 (0-11-1). I don't think a few more losses and ties on top of that is going to sway them. The teams been playing well enough to squeak out a couple wins. The front office will be patient and wait untli the season is lost and the world cup is over before making any moves.

It won't be Clavijo, unless all the other choices get through this year without being fired. FC could go 1-30-1 this season and keep his job until KSE decides the budget for 2007. The only thing KSE cared about in 2005 or 2006 is saving as much money as possible, which is why Clavijo is paid less than some assistant coaches in MLS. They won't find a replacement willing to take that money.

Good point. I was going to say Clavijo is safe until he cuts his hair but your explination seems more rational 🙂

I voted Mo, with Ellinger and Sampson a close second.
