RSL - Galaxy [R] April 29th

Galaxy traveling to Rice-Eccles to play Real Salt Lake. Will Ellinger stick to the 3-5-2? Is Sampson actually going to "rest" Hartman?

Kries scores what may be the "fastest goal in RSL's history. Within 5 minutes RSL makes yet another bad mistake in the defense and gifts Lannycakes his first goal of the year.

RSL 1
LA 1

When will RSL get a clean sheet again?!?!?!?!????

LA's playing better right now.

It'd be nice for RSL to get the ball, be patient, and knock it around.

crap! and now cobi scores.

For the most part RSL is playing like they did against Red Bull at RES a couple weeks ago.

Continued failure to:

--mark

--trap

--move off the ball (except on Kreis' goal--a flash of what is possible)

--play through and not wait for the whistle

Continue to:

--ball watch

--freeze in place if we think we were fouled

--hit a wall when we attempt to manuever the ball into the attacking third

--pass to the marked man

Hopefully the coaches makes adjustments for the second half.

Brown and Harris in.

Cunningham and Williams benched.

Down 1-2, we make a defensive sub.

OK.

1-3.

Any energy or motivation just evaporated from this team.

They look like they don't have a clue what to do.

Maybe that's because they don't have a clue what to do.

Why is that?

Ballouchy makes an instant impact in the middle, where he should be playing anyway.

2-3 and maybe a chance in this one.

Or.

Maybe not.

That was painful to watch today. I thought last weeks game here in Houston was bad. The major player changes were made during the off-season and the results are the same. Loss after loss---I feel for the loyal fans.
