Better. Not good enough.

Fourteen straight, and now 0-for-2 this year.

Much better effort, but tactically not together as a team.

Too many passes into pressure, with the result being turnover after turnover.

Bring 'em home and let's get a win against RBNY.

9 CKs and 11 shots may be a RSL record for an away game.

Much better. Is it possible that a loss can be a momentum builder?

I wasn't nearly as concerned about the turnovers (the 2nd half was much better, I though) as I was about the marking in the defensive third. I swear, Dallas should have been up 2-0 in the first half hour with a couple of wide open shots. How did Ruiz get so wide open while 2 defenders just hovered nearby?

Anyway, Klein is my MOTM. Pope played well for the most part, and Torres was ok except for being burned on the cross that led to the 2nd goal. Ballouchy was heavy on his passes all night, I'm not a big fan of Talley so far. But the team as a whole looked so much better. This game, unlike last week, was actually entertaining.

Talley? Do you mean Attiba Harris?

Watching the LA-Fire game right now. The level of play is so much higher than what we just saw in Dallas, it's hard to believe it's the same league.

Biggest difference? Passing and movement off the ball. The best coaches will tell you you can't have one without the other. We're way behind in the fundamentals and it will be an uphill battle to catch up this year. With effort like we saw in tonight's game we can stay competitive. But we won't be a winner until we can get the basics right.

Would that we had rep again, because a dancing banana just doesn't quite cut it in this case...

Much better effort than last week. Seemed to defend better as a team and maintained better possession. Created some chances but seemed less effective on the attack. I would have loved to see them get a result coming into the home opener but I am just happy that they played better than last week. I am already excited to be in the stadium cheering them on. Let's beat the red bras!!!

It's tough for us to get that kind of momentum because we are such a new team. We added fourteen players on this offseason. That is half of our team (14/28=1/2, right?) We won't have that momentum for a while, but it is coming along.

Anydangway, we played pretty well. A little upset about that first FCD goal(holy elbows!). But yeah, it was good. Klein's goal=GOTW, amazing.

Oh yeah, Cutler still sucks.

At least now I have hope. That was much better than last week.

Ballouchy shouldn't be playing as much as he is though.

And still no Jamie Watson?

If Harris is going to be the "Supersub", he'd better start making an impact when he comes off the bench. He was non-existant last night.
