SI's MLS2006 Preview

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2006/writers/luis_bueno/03/31/mls.preview/index.html

I'm getting sick and tired of people hating on RSL. We better kick some trash this year so our critics can lament their lack of vision. Of course, Luis Bueno is probably a little biased towards LAS CHIVAS Juniors, which means he probably hates RSL. It would be so awesome to pay LAS CHIVAS Juniors back their little 5-1 favor from last year...At least we beat them back in October. And we don't have to deal with Romo anymore. And their backline is horribly old. Go RSL!

You know that whole "RSL will compete for the title for about 30 minutes" statement really was lame. We really don't get any respect. Well I hope the team proves the doubters wrong.

Go RSL!

I hope these statements are ticking off the players as much as they are ticking us off. While it doesn't show us any respect, I'd much rather be reading about how bad we are going to be rather than having people talking about how great we are going to be and letting it go the players' heads.

i HAD to write an email to mr bueno. i have seen him cover the mexican league before and understand that is the reason he thinks the goats will get somewhere. mexicans always think their soccer is better, even after we embarrass their national team. how he thinks the crapids are going anywhere is WAY beyond my belief. i am just certain that him being a goat lover, makes him diss rsl since its a race to see which expansion team will get to the top first.

Mendoza is listed at 5' 5" 125 pounds. The MLS is more physical than the mexican league. $20 says this kid gets run out of town cuz he can't make it in the MLS but has decent career in Mexico.
