The marking was horrible! The defense was horrible!

RSL got one touch before 2-3 goats collapsed on them... fighting... tugging... pushing... poking at the ball and the player, until one of the goats could just walk away with the ball.

Goats get the ball and the rsl players drop back 2-3 steps and give him space or runs beside the goat all the way down the side... up the middle... to the top of the box... and right down to Garlick...

I understand we should not be playing 7 year old "bunch ball" but FFS I have seen 7 year olds mark better...

I just can't bring myself to be all Zen about things when we have to go to Dallas next week.

Now if we were going to Colorado or Columbus, I wouldn't be hitting the panic button so hard, but, seriously...

I'm calling it now - Chivas will finish the season ahead of FCD. Write it down. The wheels are about to come off in Dallas.

Also I'm not as worried because I think RSL will come out with a lot more energy and keep it close. Sunday they played like getting a result was their birthright. I think Chivas helped bring us back to earth.

Plus we seem to have this issue with the HDC - only 1 goal in 5 appearances - but we seem to play OK at PHP.

I'm NOT calling an RSL win but I do think you'll see us play better and lose more respectably.

What Chivas fans are saying... as if what we are saying was not enough...

Good first win of the season by Chivas USA. Only snag being it was against RSL...the only team that Chivas USA can beat.

To really test the progression of the team over last season, two things are required.

1. To beat another team that is not RSL.
2. To win more than 3 games!!

Shouldn't be too hard I reckon!

RSL commits the crime of giving Chivas hope... for the second season in a row!

At least we are consistent there too!

A part of me keeps expecting to hear someone from RSL say, "April Fools!"

I'm still in shock.

La Opinion says it could have been worse.

Not much here that we don't know already.

They said that Cunningham's speed caused them some problems.

Has RSL won any games without Kreis in the starting lineup?
