It was tons of fun!

If I had any working brain cells, I would have kept track of how many people were there. Hopefully Lucky & Dysko can help out on that. There were at least 10; not had for a Sunday afternoon.

As you might imagine, the NFL took precedence so we weren't allowed to watch the game on the big screen until 2. But we saw most of the pregame & the start in the bar.

The Skybox will be a great place for post game festivities or watching away games. Non-soccer fans can watch other sports & there's the game room that can entertain kids for a while. During the summer, little kids can play in the fountain outside.

It was a lot of fun getting together for the match. Thanks Dave.
I counted about 15. Though with all the action, it sounded at times as if there were probably more.

I didn't get the impression that there was a "ReAL" fan base rooting for either team in particular. I know I was only looking for an exciting game and was definitely not disappointed. This match had it all. Breakaways, counters, an impressive turnaround and comeback, an own goal, a red card and even a PK.

It's a good time getting together with a bunch of like minded fans for events like this. This is the start of a great tradition. As the ReALity (ok, I'll stop) and excitement of MLS in SLC spreads and grows, this is really going to be fun!

By my count we had 34 people there and that didn't include two tables that I figured were not there for soccer.

I am glad that we got a few people out... and hopefully we can get a lot more in the future. Since most games won't be on a Sunday that should help.

I got the impression that one lady was cheering for the Wiz but other than that people seemed to be there for a good game.

Next event is Wednesday at Trolley Corners... the team will announce the first RSL player. It is intended to roll into the USMNT game that night. Also, Friday the draft is happening at the SkyBox.

If you want to do me a huge favor write the following e-mail address and ask if they are going to cover these two events , , , and .. I think it will be very helpful in getting a few more precious seconds of air time.

Thanks...

It was a good time, I thought there were more like 20 or 25 people there, but who's counting? It was a fun game, pretty good atmosphere (it was pretty cool when we got the big TV with sound and the two NFL games were being played on the smaller side TVs without sound). Also I ran into Gordan Giricek of the Utah Jazz afterwards (I'm also a big Jazz fan). All in all a fun experience.
