Past RSL Players: Where are they now?

Okay, of all of our waived players, does anyone know where they are?

We have waived:

Marlon Rojas
Evan Whitfield
Leighton O'Brien
Dipsy Selolwane--HAs signed with some South African team?
Rusty Pierce--On trial with Columbus
DJ Countess
Matt Behncke
Dante Washington--(retired?)

Did I mis anyone?

Marlon Rojas--Still doesn't have a club, but is on the T&T team for the WC
Evan Whitfield--In Chicago going to law school
Leighton O'Brien--I heard he went back to the Sounders.
Dante Washington--Retired

That is all that I know... does anyone else have more/better info?

Haven't heard anything about Rusty trying out for 1836 but they did have some try-outs of some sort going on this weekend. I'll do some checking around. He played his club soccer for the same club my nephew did so maybe some of those folks know. I'll keep ya'll posted if I hear anything.

Rusty is in Florida right now trialing with the Crew. He will play against his former RSL teammates tomorrow in Tampa.

Plus there is Jeff Stewart but he never suited up for any games and I think he is retired now (injuries).

There are some others that should be on this list or not? Surely there are some draft picks from last year floating around out there. Or is the cut off making the roster on a specific date?

DJ is in California still recovering from his shoulder injury. He will be able to finally start training again in a week. Then he is off to Europe but doesnt know exactly who he will be playing for yet. He is hopeful but I think a bit frustrated.... Best of luck DJ!

We could include people like Steve Rhine (05 Supp Draft #1), but he never really signed or played for RSL. Stewart at least got a paycheck but never played.
