It looks like Melvin Tarley schrimmaged with the MN Thunder the other day. I haven't found much more so he's probably just training with them right now. I hope to find out more this week on that one. They have some schrimmages in town that I plan on going to.

Just the usual chatter about him in talks with the thunder. He was supposed to play but I didn't stick around. Turned out they had the trialists schrimmaging at 1pm and then the probably team folks at 3pm. I wanted to see the MLS opener so I was out of there.

Did anyone else notice that Rusty Pierce got burned twice by KC on the first and third goals? I can't tell for sure but he might have been back there on the second one as well.

On a different note, why did Eddie Johnson get a yellow card for "Game Disrepute"? Does the MLS now penalize people for excessive celebration ala NFL, College Football? :banpoop: :signlame:

He took his shirt off. That is a FIFA rule, not MLS.

any time you take off your shirt when a goal is scored, automatic yellow (you could see the ref say that he had to do it).

however, you can still do the run and dive technique and the rest of your team can join you in doing so without a card....unlike the new NFL where you can't celebrate on the ground anymore.

Do I regret this? No. I believe his tissue has made me stronger. I now have the strength of a grown man and a little baby.

Yep, you are right. Except for taking off your shirt, you can pretty much do whatever you want to celebrate as long as it doesn't take to long or directly taunt the other team. It's nowhere near the No Fun League.

You can do snow angels in FIFA, not in NFL
You can pull out a sharpie.....maybe not, but you can have a team riverdance celebration.....not in the NFL.

And he's among the league leaders in fouls committed, too.

Rojas signed with the Atlanta Silverbacks.

Rumor has it that Tiger is in Europe trying to catch on with a team.
