This comment from Bumpy's post is especially reassuring:

Walsh spent the past two seasons with the Kansas City Wizards after originally being drafted in the first round of the 2003 SuperDraft by the Columbus Crew. In 1,316 career minutes, Walsh has scored one goal.

What's wrong with that? The guy's a defender. Akwari has zero goals in 4,100 career minutes but nobody's bagging on him.

Sorry to be such an antagonist today, but seriously, I'd like to see us give these new guys a chance before we decide that they suck. It just seems like our new players are getting some harsh treatment from the fans and I don't see the justification for it.

But he isn't a defender, he is a midfielder/forward. 😕

Last time I checked, Mids/Forwards are expected to score, otherwise we mock them.
See example Mathis, Clint

I'm pretty sure Diego's always played in the midfield.

If he wanted you to do that, he would've just posted that pic of me having my back waxed. :D

Loook into my eyesss...you are getting verrrry sleeepy.

He takes a worse pic than Kreis. To be fair, whenever I see a pic of Kreis with his eyes all big, it's usually on the field. Maybe it's an exertion thing. I wouldn't know about that.

Deuce, you sweet, sweet man. May you have blissful nights and easy days for the rest of your life. Karma will have your back for this kind act!
