BTW are you going to Dallas to represent Class 1 at the supporters summit?
huh? No...?

Actually my flight doesn't get in until Saturday afternoon so I won't make the Summit, but I'll be around on Saturday evening and on Sunday for the game. A $300 difference in airfare between Saturday morning and Saturday afternoon was too good to pass up. We've also been requested by FC Dallas to bring the Rocky Mountain Cup with us, so if we can find somebody driving from Denver (the other two Rapids C10 members that are attending are flying) or some way to safely transport it on the plane it will be there as well.

So you measure the extent of your support by a meager $300... why don't you drive then? we are! So again you are not going to support class 1 at the summit... almost gonna be there to represent is still... NOT gonna be there to represent!

Glad you are bringing the cup tho... the more exposure the better.... but you do know that you should not get too attached to it because you prolly won't see it again for several seasons after you lose it next season.

I'm glad to hear you;re so well off as to not have to worry about $300. I know FSL has a safe future with fans like you that will be willing to pour big money into a team that loses season after season. Some of us aren't that lucky though, and have to choose our priorities. Being another member of the Rapids supporters at the supporters summit was not a high priority, being able to afford to go to MLS Cup was.

Yeah, because you played so well against the Rapids this season. 1 win, 3 losses, 2 goals scored. Yeah, we're quaking in our boots over here waiting for the big bad FaKE Salt Lake to show up and play a real game. I will thank FSL for the experience of being on the field with the Rapids as they raised the Rocky Mountain Cup though, that was a quite enjoyable highlight of my first trip to SLC. Hopefully we'll never return the favor in Denver.

Yes thank you I know that RSL has a very safe future because of fans like all of us over here on this side of the mountain.

Considering the support you guys have shown your team... I am really surprized that they are not in Rochester yet!
Maybe when the gamble in Commerce City bites AEG in the backside they will see the error and move the team to where it will be properly supported...

PS... showing up to watch a team only in a winning season... does not a supporter make...

And we'd like to thank the Crapids for handing us our first home win on a silver platter.

Remember tho if you whine to the admin here... you are whining to me... so suck it up... stop cryin' and bring a better smack talk...

I thought Neil was the admin here. Even so I'd love for you to point out where on that BS thread I cried to the admin. You really think you're going to get to me at this point after all that's gone before? Trust me, you won't.

As for only supporting the team in winning seaons, well, when they've been to the playoffs 7 of the 8 seasons I've followed the team, it's hard to pick out a true losing one. Hey, it only took you guys 1 season to feel like I did after 4 years as a Rapids fan (missing the 2001 playoffs). You are ahead of me in something, congrats! 😉

OK, if you guys hadn't wimped out and turned off the rep system, I'd rep you for that one. Nicely done. Instead all I have is:

7 of 8 seasons... in the playoffs and still losing... hmmmm... oh well I guess you set your standards a little lower since in the first 9 seasons of MLS you had to be truly sad to not make the playoffs considering that only two teams each year didn't make the playoffs... i mean hell MLS should have just made it simple and let everyone into the playoffs... they pretty much were anyway

I would go back to that thread and point out the posts where you were whining but since you big hardcore fans got the admins involved I suppose you know I can't do that... so it is pretty simple to say find something where I whined when you know that it is impossible to do so.... that is like being a cRapid fan and saying i have been a supporter of them for so many years when knowing full well that from Arizona you could only check scores on there website once a month because you were 1000 miles away and even when they were "winning" you know you could not find them on TV.

You are right Neil is the admin here... I should have known you would know that...

Enema,

You didn't answer my questions. Exactly how many Crapid games have you been to? And how many season tickets have you bought?

You claim to have supported them for 8 years, but sitting in your living room to watch the games on TV (when they are actually on since the Crapids don't broadcast many of their games) doesn't exactly qualify as support. Being at the stadium, rain or shine, win or lose, standing the whole time cheering your team on for every home game, going to watch parties with other team supporters for away games, and going to reserve games is what I would call a supporter. Your just an internet rocket science masquerading as a team supporter.

Again, get back to me when you at least buy a season ticket.

This post may come back to haunt me. Or maybe not.

I'm assuming that there were no booze-fueled riots in 1984 when BYU "won" the national championship?

Colorado fans : Pure class.
