Sandy: Who lives there or is moving there?
Since the new stadium is going to be in Sandy and I noticed various ppl have mentioned moving there, I thought a thread for all Sandy-ites would be interesting.

I think Aerick, dysko and Clarette live there.

I read that Rover and the of8s were moving there.

Anyone else?

My dad lives there. So I spend a little time down there. But I live in North Salt Lake.

I live in Midvale about 16 blocks north of where the stadium will be.

Hey! I grew up in NSL! My parents still live there! Nice!

As far as the Sandy thing. I live in Sandy, and will be moving closer to the stadium. We were looking in Draper, but now with the stadium announcement, it would be nicer to focus our efforts in the surrounding areas of the stadium.

Is the area closest to the stadium/Expo center mostly established residential or new single-family home subdivisions?

depends...if my wife ends up kicking me out of my house due to my love for all things RSL, my in-laws and mom live in Sandy...

There isn't much of a residential area directly around the stadium site. Mostly commercial and recently some condos/apartments have gone in but they're not directly next to the site either. There are a few homes here or there but no subdivisions.

We were looking more South too. But it's a heck of a lot closer than were we live now!
