I just read a *rumor*...
on Myspace saying that Rusty has been cut but that it hasn't been released yet.

Anyone have any info, or is someone out in cyberspace smoking crack?

Well, he didn't travel with the team this weekend if that means anything. And he hasn't played in an awfully long time in a game, reserve or regular, despite practicing. It wouldn't surprise me at all to find out that he had been cut.

Anyone go to practice today and see him there?

Man that sucks. He was one of my favorite players.........when he was playing. He was a nice guy outside of the game as well. It's too bad when a good player can't get past the injury bug. I wish him all the best in the future.

I guess I saw it coming, but I am pretty sad. I really liked to watch him play when he wasn't injured. It was hard to watch him after the injury though. He never seemed to recover properly. Too bad he was only not injured for the first few games. Good luck Rusty.

Rusty has been in this injury funk for many years. It was the reason that the Resv let him go in the Expansion draft, regardless of his actual quality as a defender.

PS Are we really sure he is gone? A little late for changing the roster, isn't it?

That's sad

We only got to use our "Rusty's Rat Pack" sign a few times.

We were just never sure when he'd play.
