Do you think Leighton O'Brien is bitter?

http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/sports/2002536082_sounder03.html

O'Brien said of the Sounders after winning the USL1 Title:
"To be honest, we're a better team than Salt Lake," said O'Brien, an eighth-year pro who played the United Soccer Leagues First Division title match with a broken right foot. He will have surgery to repair the foot on Oct. 11. "If this were like the English Premier League, they'd be down and we'd be up."

Maybe he's right, I mean, didn't Seattle play RSL and beat them?...

Didn't we send our developmental squad to play them?

Isn't RSL still ahead of Chivas? Then Chivas would be relegated...not Salt Lake.

I wouldn't be suprised if he's feeling bitter. I wouldn't assume that. But I'd be if I were him. Probably my last chance to try to catch on in the MLS and it doesn't work out. And to boot after I leave the team manages to win all of what? Another game? 2? Maybe 3? I'd be bitter about the whole thing if I were him.

I thought that your starting 11 was your developmental squad. It's hard to tell the difference given the quality of play... :signrocko

I hope he's got those corner kicks worked out now.

No, we'd still go. In England's case the bottom three drop down a division.
