To be honest, Ruiz's coach, Clarke, told the Dallas media that Ruiz had family problems. So I guess they could be legitimate. However he was gone from Dallas several times in Guatemala when he said he would be in Dallas. He also would be done with WCQs (or red carded) and still wouldn't show up for FC Dallas practices. I can't imagine it would be very fun to be his teamate or be his coach. Sure he scores, but man, that is a lot of baggage there.
