Is this MLS or NBA your talking about?

I would trade half of RSL for someone like Christain Gomez. He is awesome.

Besides, Ruiz is Guatemalan, not Argentinian. Get it right!
Floppers!?

It's not so much an Argentine thing ... wait yes it is ... Maradona was the worst flopper in the world, he actually gave a class once (which he was fined for doing, I can't remember the amount but I think it was about equivalent to $50 then) on how to flop without being caught. I assume his next class would have been how to hand ball in the box and score from it whilst being high on Cocaine.

I just think that overall, and yes there are exceptions, lots of them, but it's a fair generalisation to say South American players flop like rabbits ears and go down easier than a pint of Guinness in a Dublin pub. I admire many players from South America, but I think that right now I would swap a dozen flopping, fancy footwork, glossy, show boats for 6 hard working, gritty, running, tactical Europeans. Not just English, I think French players, germans, I don't care as long as they do and they play standing up.

But Gomez .. yeah go on twist my arm ...

But perhaps a voodoo priest could help us out... a little voodoo to drag down the opponent.

I vote for getting a voodoo priest on the team.

But, Scholesy... the entertainment value of Argentine footballers' hairstyles alone makes it worth it to scout down there.

Ruiz

Yea Ruiz Is A Flopper But When The Game Is On The Line There Is No One Better Than Ruiz To Finish. Doesn't Matter If It's Mls Or Anywhere Else He Is A Goal Scorer.

IF Ruiz actually shows up for a game, sure. You know, besides hanging out in Guatemala with "personal" issues.

Welllll .... if that were true he would be playing 'anywhere else', but he's not. Not that he isn't a goal scorer, he is, but there are plenty of goalscorers ho aren't cheats too. I'll take one of them over two cheating Ruiz' anyday and twice on a Saturday.

I heard the "personal" issue was he went back to Guatemala to try out for the Guatemalan olympic dive team. They were so impressed with his dives on the pitch that they figured he could easily transition over to the 1 or 3 meter springboard or even the 10 meter platform.

Futbol Argentino

OH yea!!! Bring on the Argentinos! They will show us how to play! A little bit of Latin blood around is always good for the energy level!

GO SAN LORENZO!
