Has anyone seen this kid play? 3rdDegree has ben commenting on him all along.

Wynne is mentioned like a billion times in the article, but there is not one thing about him only.

It sounds like Buzz is really high on Altiodre and even says he expects him to be better than EJ. Pretty nice praise coming from an FCD fan. Perhaps he's raw enough to drop to the 3rd round? A fast winger is something we could really use.

I actually think a D-mid that won't be at the World Cup and a D is what we need. We have Scarlett, Williams, Gregorio, Trembly, Novak, and a lot more. We don't need any wings.

We don't have any GOOD wingers though. Williams is an A-Mid anyway.

Well there is that fact.

Scarlett is good enough. Novak is just a little inexperienced, but I would rather have him start over a rookie picked in the third round. That sounds stupid but I think Novak would be better. Plus, Coach E has been bulking up on some unproven M's all offseason. We've got Jiminez and Walsh and we still have Kreamalmeyer. Plus we've got CHRIS BROWN, what more could you want?

I think that having Scarlett and Brown as our starting wings, we have plenty of speed and plenty of skill. And then we have Jiminez, Walsh, and all of those previously mentioned guys for subs. But there's still no D-mid, unless we use Besagno. I'm fine with Besagno, but I just think he's a little too young still.

I think we still should get center back, Sturgis would be a good option, or else we'll have Akwari and Knowles in the middle if Eddie goes. And we don't want that, now do we? But then of course we do have Cabrera who could play in the middle. Hmmmm...

From reading my post again, a forward might actually be a good option. I personally, do not think Tarley can cut it (Please don't kill me for that). Watson, maybe. Cila, no. I'm surprised that Cila is still with us. So if we have JC and Kreis up top, do we want Watson to be our only sub forward?

I'm confusing myself. Please Coach E, just don't pick another sixteen year old kid who won't be able to play for a couple of years!

And my head just blew up from confusion.

After my last post I am really hoping that this was Coach E.

Sorry about the double post. :slobber:

IMO we need midfield..defense is good if everyone is healthy..as far as forwards, Watson is ready for this season..I've talked with him and he worked out during the off season and is ready to go. Tarley has yet to prove ;hisself in IMO. Time well tell with Tarley . As far as Cila , he's still has some potential but not as a starter.

Don't be surprised to see the youngsters "ballin" it up this year.

I think this and some other comments goes to show what's really going on with this team right now. There are a lot of question marks on where exactly some players will best fit in. And there is just a matter of them fitting in. I expect to see a couple of these kids fight to get a place. The question for the draft is how much should we worry about getting someone who has potential to step in and play well next year? I'm not sold on needing to go for someone like Sturgis just because from here they look the most likely to be able to slip into the back line. And since they took Besagno last year, I'm not sure Ellinger + Co feel that way. The thing with a kid like him is that he doens't count toward the cap and he's got a lot of raw talent. And with the reserve league he was going to get playing time. I wouldn't be suprised to see RSL go for another young pup in the first round. I know it's frustrating but keep in mind Eddie Johnson lurker around the MLS for a couple years before he started to look like a player that could play as well as they though possible.
