hehe...Melvin and Delvin.
It doesn't hurt that Tarley scored a hattrick against the Craps just a few weeks ago.
Hopefully we will be there when he does it again (Oct.1 good for you Melvin?).

Actually, he scored 4 and the Thunder beat them 4-1.

🍺

Remember that great feeling of those April and May games when RSL wasn't afraid of anybody and the players ran their butts off?
I'd like that feeling once or twice more this year!

I have a question to soccer in the usa. you are talking here about playoffs.

I know this from other sports, but what happen to the teams like chivas usa?
is there another league, like in germany 1. Bundesliga, 2.Bundesliga etc.?

Good question, and the simple answer is--no.

We do not yet have a system of promotion and relegation as you do in the Bundesliga. We do have a second division, but teams do not move up from there and we do not send teams like Chivas USA down. Not yet, at least.

Most of us want to have the same system as you have in Germany, but we are so young as a professional league that the team owners are unwilling to risk their investment by allowing their team to be moved to a lesser division. Presently, the teams at the bottom of the table do not get to play in the playoffs, and that's the only penalty for playing badly.

We hope at some point in the future to have promotion/relegation, but we do not have it now.

thanks for the explanation. I know its a sorry sight, if you see a team, your favorite team, in the 2. or 3. League, we made this experience in Hannover for 13 years and so on the one hand teams in the USA have advantages, but mostly the fight to stay for example in the 1. Bundesliga is more interesting like the fight for the bowl, so I like to have something like playoffs.
