Reschedule practice. 🙂 Actually, I'll be watching Pats vs. Raiders Thursday night for my bro-in-law's bachelor party, so another night would work better for me.

OK, here's the sitch: We're still going to have practice on Thursday night in spite of the reserve game, but if you're going to miss it that's OK. The team shouldn't be more important than work, family, or supporting RSL. That's our mission and we're sticking to it. But most of the feedback I'm getting is that Thursday would still work best for most people so that's what we're going to do. We're trying to be democratic about practices but no democracy meets everyone's needs. My apologies if you're one of those.

This practice should be better than the last one. I for one will be more organized and not making up the practice as I go. I won't be running on my ankle this week (by the way, thanks to all those who have sent me good wishes), but I should still be able to run the practice better than I did last week. And I'm still taking suggestions for skill work or drills you want us to do, so keep em coming.

See everyone Thursday, team member or not!

Lavelle Edwards coached the last 10 years at BYU from a golf cart. I think you'll do fine. :dancing:

Wahoo... I think that I will actually be able to make it to a practice finally this week. I have been really wanting to come out, but family is my #1 with soccer a close #2.

But I look forward to showing how out of soccer shape I am right now... :signrocko

How many people are showing up to these practices? I expressed interest early on but nothing happened for several weeks so I stopped checking this thread. I'm in if you need one more.

Around 20. Things are going really well. We're glad to have you at practice if you're interested in kicking it around and having a good time, but to be honest our roster is really full at the moment. If you want to play in spring league you'd have to wait for somebody to leave the team (which will probably happen). When we need players first shot at spots will go to those who attend practice - so come on out.

Maybe we field two teams? Mixed and mens?

Maybe, but I think we'd need at least 30 strong commitments to make 2 teams work. We're not close to having that at this point. I'm sure if we all invited friends we'd get there but the plan is to keep it as a Loyalist/RCB team for now. My advice is for anyone and everyone who's part of one of these groups to come out to practice and see what it's all about - we'll see how the cards fall when league play rolls around.

How much longer are practices going to happen? 3 weeks and my daughters games are done, so I can start coming.
