Yeah, I am interested to hear opinions on this one. I figured that the lack of attendance at the Chivas game was most likely due to the temperature and early start time. The attendance at the KC game has me a bit concerned though. For those people who walk up the weather on Saturday really couldn't have been much better. Has the novelty already worn off? Have the free tickets stopped flowing and people are not willing to buy them and come? I don't know....it was sad to see such a sparse crowd. I guess I will just hope that people were out of town on vacation before school starts or weren't excited to see KC play. I am afraid that it wasn't either of those things though...

I guess that you guys are just realizing you experienced the "Anti-Adu" effect, courtesy of the KC Wiz. They can't even draw in KC, do you think ppl want to see them in SLC?

Mid season slump after emotional game last week and against a boring team. No reason to get too excited, but still, tell your friends to go to games!

Surprisingly, I didn't find KC all that boring to watch. They're very, very organized but are pulling far less of the Fuhrerbunker stuff this year, which is nice to see.

KC is a good team (again) this year. They just won 3 road trips in a row.
They are 4th in the East but I can see them going up.
I have a feeling the Fire are on the way down.

This was another non-1/2 season ticket holder game. Theonly way those games do really well is if the other team is a draw...the Wizards (despite some really attractive play) have a bad bunkering reputation.

Yeah, let's reserve judgement until we have enough data to see an actual trend.

I agree with Aerick about reserving judgement, but I do wonder if the fighting against Chivas turned some people off.

- No 1/2 season ticket holders
- Team isn't playing all that well. Utah loves a winner.
- End of summer, vacations
- Initial "charm" of team beginning to wear off. Let's face it, if we stay at RES, I really really doubt that we'll be able to pull off season averages of 19k fans.
- Where's the advertising? If I ever see a commercial, it's the same one that was being played at the beginning of the season. Not very effective. I think Chris Keeney needs to "play for pride" here.
- Lastly, streamers. Obviously fans aren't coming because they're offended by the streamers.
