That is my understanding as well. I am just disappointed to see them doing the phone solicitation thing. Oh well, I guess that is the way business is done.

It isn't a big imposition, but the added traffic on game days while school is on can be a bit annoying. There were some complaints during the overlap in the spring and I presume there will be more of the same in the fall. It just grates on people to come up to school on Saturday to study at the library and find a bunch of traffic around that isn't related to the U. I can't say that I agree, but that is what has been said.

Well if traffic is the only thing than who do I complain to about U students on I-15?
You know it is really annoying when i get off work and try to go home and find that some idiot was run into a guard-rail by some other idiot because neither of said idiots had enough sense to actually drive instead of talking on their cell phones... now I am sitting in traffic for 45-90 minutes in 100 degree heat and watching the temp guage in my car go from green to yellow to red... while the Incident management crews work there butts off to clear it all up... only to find out later on the news that it was a bloody U student calling up another U student to complain about traffic on Saturdays at the U!

Obviously this was all a silly satire and not intended to get ppl riled up...
A JOKE MAN... A JOKE!

I was actually more concerned about the somewhat unsolicited phone calls by the RSL sales team. Has anyone heard anything about this?

I didn't want to sound like I was getting on your case. I just have a different opinion...that's all. I guess I should comment a little about the thread topic. I have to say I don't like phone solicitation. I get the annual calls from the firemen, NRA, and other worthy causes, but I would really rather them not call me. Usually depends on the mood i'm in on how I greet them, but usually it is a polite 'no thank-you' unless they push the issue...them i'm not so nice. I haven't received any calls from RSL staff trying to sell tickets and can see how it could irritate some people.

I received a phone call also!!
For 2 out of 3 last games, I bought tickets to the RSL games from the U of U website. To my surprise, the beginning of last week I received a phone call from a guy from the FO. I missed the call, but he left me a message saying he was thankful that we had purchased tickets and wanted to get some feedback from us on our experiences on the games we went to and also wanted to see if we wanted to purchase future tickets. I didn't call him back, but I did find it odd that I received a phone call. I wasn't ever asked if I would be ok with receiving phone calls? 😕

Not a problem. I was just curious if there were further developments on the issue. I should have just posted in the proper topic. I don't really know which side of the argument I side with, but I just didn't really want to rehash an issue that I knew was a bit inflamatory.
