Hello all,
I am late in introducing myself because I didn't know this place existed until a few weeks ago. I live in Ogden. I live for Ogden too (you can see my craze for Ogden at www.thegoodinogden.blotspot.com or www.ogdenreccenter.blogspot.com). And for my wife and future child (Feb. 16). I am a student at W.S.U. seeking a degree in CMT (Construction Management Technology). I hated soccer growing up. I played football, baseball, and wrestled, and soccer seemed like the sport for the pretty boys that couldn't hack it with the "real" atheletes. I became a soccer fan during the oft mentioned two-year tour of duty to Brazil. While there I had to learn soccer. The people only would let me play in the goal because I was a stupid American and didn't know how to play sports with my feet (see football, baseball). I also learned soccer when I would wake up in the night with seemingly the whole city of Porto Alegre cheering because Gremio or Internacional scored a goal. When RSL came to town, I was hooked. The first game and the USMNT game are two of the greatest sports events I have ever attended. To me, there's just something about a soccer crowd. People are colorfull and vocal. There is also something about cheering for a goal. It is different than cheering for a touchdown or a big basket or a home run; it is better.

Nope, I did not make the game on Saturday (DNP, coaches decision- pregnant wife). I have, however, been wanting to get in with the Loyalists. When I go, I usually end up by you guys because I get funny looks with my cow bell in other parts of the stadium. When I go to the games I usually have on a red Internacional jersey.

I am not trying to get this off-topic, but I noticed on Dallas's FSN feed this weekend that they kept showing this "guy" with a cowbell. He looked older (than me) maybe in his 40s... is that one of you guys?
FSN kept the FanCam on him a lot.
😉
