Many podcasters still use it, Linux distributions often use it, game companies often distribute demos using it, and it is being integrated into web browsers so more people will probably start using. I wouldn't be surprised to see it get built into iTunes for the podcasting stuff either. Is it safe? Well, it depends on what you download with it and what you do with those downloads. It is just a different way to download files from the Internet. If you download from reputable places you should have no problem. If you download from less than reputable places that may be another story. Is it legal? Well, it depends on the content. There is certainly legal and illegal content out there. Does that help any?

Yes it does. Last night I tried to download the copa libertadores final last night and couldn't seem to get it to work.

Well, bit torrent isn't always the most reliable solution. As I mentioned it is based on sharing of the download. The problem is that after a while no one is sharing (seeding in bit torrent parlance) the file any longer so the torrent is dead. If there weren't any seeds then you might try asking someone in the forum to reseed the file. You might have also been using a bad client. Some clients don't work so well. Azureus is a java based client that is quite popular and I would recommend.

The real story is who DIDN'T play well. Andy Harron should retire right now and start selling manhole covers or something while wearing a dead albatross around his neck. He cost his team a victory against one of the best clubs in the world.

Yeah, even Sugar Ray Hudson, Mr. Superlative himself, couldn't contain his disdain for Herron's performance.
