Loyalist Hosted Event

Ok, this was touched on for about 2 seconds in another thread and I thought it sounded like a great idea, I was just wondering what other people’s opinions on it were. (Unless of course there is already something like this in the works and I just don’t know about it 😛 )

It would be a Loyalist hosted picnic/BBQ type thing and we could invite the team, coaching staff, FO people, etc.

It would be nice to maybe do an end of the season type thing, but thinking about the weather I don’t think that would be the best idea. I think the best time would be a Saturday on a week with maybe a Wednesday game (August 27 or September 10 maybe).

Thoughts?

Excellent idea, since i thought about it first.. Just kidding.
No, I don't know who would be in charge of setting this up, but i think it would be an excellent idea. But I think we should keep it a "secret" within the loyalists. I don't know how much of a secret we could keep it really, since anyone can read this, but I am down to help with whatever is needed. :dancing:

I agree. ANd I'm also willing to help. I'll even make cookies! Lots of cookies! How many batches do you think I should do?

Glenn talked about having a "Meet The Players" event but I don't think it will work out. Maybe the stalkers can just ask people if they'd come if we hosted them. I would love to see it happen, and I've thought about it for months, but haven't gotten very enthused responses from people who might actually make it happen. So I'm not going to hold my breath.
