The fairpark deal sounds worse and worse for Real...no parking revenue, necessary away games in Sept...before you know it, they'll want a cut of all concessions and ticket sales.

This quote is classic in the last article:

"Germany had the biggest improvement, moving up 10 spots to 11th from 21st."

Cabrera and Gregorio signed. Good news.
Who gets cut?
Its got to be O'Brien, Beckne, Knowles or Novak at this point.

Even the Galaxy has to schedule its Victoria Street matches around Rugby 7's, high school football, concerts, etc.

Supposedly, Trax will head out to the Fairpark some day; so everyone will take Trax to the games and there won't be much parking revenue to argue over.........

Can't stand the Fairpark. Maybe it was that driving test for my first license . . a few years ago.

But I also would rather our stadium be based in a development more centered on higher quality retail, entertainment, and business. Not cows.

If this is the best the city can do, then I'd rather go to Sandy.

Bottom line--wherever we go, RSL, soccer, and our stadium have to be the priority. That's not what's being offered at the Fairpark. And I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I just realized that I'm a dork because I mis-read this line as "biggest improvement from 11th to 21st"

Doh!

"Supposedly" and "some day" being the key words in that sentence...

I can't see us giving up on Knowles, and I think we still need to keep Behncke around for some depth. Bye bye Leighton.

Carson's primary industries were refining oil, trailer parks and gang warfare. And loading Jenna Jameson videos into ocean containers for export.

And the Home Depot Center is doing OK, even with its velodrome, tennis center & Chargers camp.

The Red Iguana could cater our tailgate parties.
