I don't post very much, because I can't get online at work very much. But from what I read when i get home during the last few weeks. I personally feel like some of you guys from the Loyaltist and I am not saying everybody, take things way to personally.

Fuegote, bardguy, ska (some examples) these guys are here to have fun and you took some of their posts way to personally. Ya I don't post very much and that maybe be my downfall for saying anything. I don't know any of the RCB personally yet, except I know fuegote from some other things (example Xbox live). But fuegote is one of the nicest guys I have met.

I made my choice I started late on being a RSL fan, and I wanted to get involved more, so I started with the Loyalists and was going to join, then I hear the things that were being done to fuegote, ska, bardguy (just examples), and then I made my choice.

I do hope we can get along, and I too will not post anymore on this forum, I never really did, because you know what guys. I waste to much of my time seeing people get to emotionally involved. I am in fault too. So I will go enjoy myself and have fun with the RCB as we get things together.

Hey if you think people should "not take things so personally" then there's no reason to leave! Don't punish Neil for a couple personal disagreements. I take full responsibility for this can of worms and I'll be happy to get temporarly banned or have my rep reset or whatever. Call me nasty names or something. It'll make me feel better. But come on, guys, don't walk away just because of a couple things said here or there. Just shrug it off.

I have never seen anything questionable from Mom and Dad of 8 so why do they deserve to be written about in such a way? This may not be labeled by some as a direct personal attack but it comes very close and that's what he is good at, just with a toe on the line and not crossing it.


I just want to know, if you are posting this on your own page in this forum, twice even, once on 6/27 and again on 6/30, why can't you follow your own rules?

The thing is, official entity or not, they tend to follow what Old Ska says and it sets the tone of how they are perceived. Talking out of both sides of your mouth is not good, no matter if it happens on this forum or your own.

My biggest gripe right now is the majority of Loyalists on this board feel it's a loyalist board. It is not. It is an RSL board. don't believe me, ask Neil.

Ska posted being nice with our friends here on this board, and has since been attacked, again, but they made up....but you didn't see that so you decided to bring it up again.

If you want to discuss Loyalist matters, you have a thread here, but you are free to open up your own website and start your own forum to discuss Loyalist stuff there.

NOthing has been deleated since early last week on our forum, go check for yourself.

and please, feel free to bring up some more past instances that have been cleared to add more gasoline to this fire.

This isn't helping either. I propose that everyone leave it alone and allow cooler heads to prevail tomorrow. At this point, things are going to be taken in a negative light whether they meant them or not. This whole thing orginally got started as a misunderstanding that got out of control, and this is just opening old wounds.

This is a forum for RSL. There have been many things taken out of context by several people on both "sides" of this issue.

I apologize to everyone on the forum for any role I played in this affair both wittingly and unwittingly. I have been guilty in the past of pouring gasoline on the fire but have not done so this evening. If any thing I posted or pmed to anyone was misconstrued, I apologize to the people I wrote to and may have directly or indirectly offended. I was hoping to rebuild bridges but may have just made things worse.

Somebody, I don't remember who, said something along the lines of developing thicker skin. Apparently this isn't possible for a number of us.

Here's hoping we don't become another Columbus. (Ask Czar Jake about it if you don't know the situation there.)

Please everyone allow this to die so we can coexist for for the sake of the only group that really matters, Real Salt Lake.

Look all of this came about because i lost my temper, when i took issue with an RCB member. I did what I said i would never do, and that is tar the brothers Enger with the Ska brush.

My issue has never been with Fuegote, Alianza, The Bardguy, or Trumpetman or their dad.

If it will stop this in it's tracks, before it gets any futher out of hand I will say I'm sorry that i did not take a break before I posted a reply!
I have PM'd Fuegote and apologized for a blanket statement over my obvious issue with some one else in their group.

This is a public apology to the Brothers Enger and to the forum for losing my temper.
There are some things that are bigger, even than me.

I do not wish Fuegote, Alianza, trumpetman, bardguy or thatsportsfan to stop posting here.

My comments were out of anger and i retract them.

Actually, that's where I told Bardguy that I had a gay crush on him and that MomOf8 was aware of it. I was offended by Bardguy asking if I had a crush on Mathis and then I wrote the same thing I was offended by, so I was being a hipocrite. That's why I deleted it and asked people to neg rep me for it.

I never publically attacked Ska. I neg repped him and told him his comments were in poor taste (he used a dirty pun that insinuated that I was homosexual). But, as you mentioned Fuegote, I have since apologized and I even apologized to Bardguy personally yesterday. It was a really silly childish thing and I was being overly sensitive at the time.

One thing I would like to point out, and this is what pissed me off, is that when someone posts something that you not hijack their thread by changing the subject (not you personally Fuegote, anybody that posts here). I think proper netiquette would demand that you respect the subject of the thread and start your own thread if the topic changes. A few of Mom's threads and my threads have been hijacked and yes, our threads were in the off-topic area, so maybe that's open season on hijacking, I don't know.

I hope I haven't offended anyone, that was not my intention. And if nobody has met Bardguy or Fuegote, they are super great guys and are better RSL fans than I'll ever be. I hope that everything is cool between all of us.
