Not directly. But some Guatemalan, Salvadoran & Honduran fans swear their national sides would be beating Brazil if it weren't for their corrupt, greedy & stupid federations.

Wow, this is a hard quote
Quote:
The U.S. National Soccer Team Players Association, headed by Washington attorney Mark Levinstein, said, based on the payout, the raise is actually 20 percent and amounts to about 4 percent a year.
"Our theory is if the players do well, players should get raises," said Levinstein. "The way it is now, the MLS gets all the money. The USSF board is controlled by MLS, and they want to take all the money for the for-profit league."

BTW at least they are talking again today.

It does seem as though the Players Association is getting a little extravigant.

I say, "SPLIT THE DIFFERENCE AND LET'S GO"!

Maybe this goes under the "RSL Sightings" thread.

But the morning show on 1280 mentioned the USMNTPA/USSF p***ing contest briefly today.

They pointed out that most sports fans have lots of options, so if the players & management don't want to get their acts together, most sports fans won't care.

They spent more time talking about about the NHL Suicide.

But if you agree with the "I don't care what you say about me as long as you spell my name right" school of thought; soccer is well on its way.
