New Online Soccer Game forum?

Some of you may know that a few of us here play various online soccer games for fun.

Currently we randomly discuss them on Off Topic (where it gets lost) and The Loyalists (where it doesn't really belong).

I propose (as requested by Neil) that we vote for the creation of a Online Soccer Game forum.

Please post any questions or comments.
Thanks

You mean like Winning 11 and FIFA '05?

Could be, if you can play them online.
But I am refering to games like www.xperteleven.com or www.managerzone.com or www.hattrick.org or www.onlinesoccermanager.com

A few of us are currently in a league on XpertEleven right now. Are you interested? 🙂

Yes, I'm interested. That looks pretty cool. You can play FIFA '05 online, but it's a game you have to buy. I'm looking at Xpert Eleven and it looks like it's free from what I can tell.

Xpert11 is free. Only draw back is that Ska is in charge. 😉
However be nice to him, since he is the only one that can let you into our league.
I'm just kidding Ska 🙂

I think Fondy is inactive? Can Dad get that one?

Correct me if I am wrong, you're talking Fantasy Soccer. I think there should be a place for gloating, ribbing, and bragging among those who participate in these. I have never participated in a fantasy soccer league, (i have participated in fantasy basketball, baseball, and pointyball) but probably would in the future.

I would want a place to gloat when I win (or get razzed when i lose) 🕺 . So you have my vote.

XpertEleven related question -- can you realign divisions after the end of Season 1? It would be nice to be able to play some of the other teams.

Maybe it could even be set up in a promotion/relegation format?

It's a super addictive game. I'm just having trouble keeping all my guys healthy. Not to mention the problems with alcohol abuse, getting into fights with each other, and sleeping with other players' wives.

I think I voted for a seperate forum but I just remembered that xperteleven has its own forum built in. I think that us X11'ers could use that one to keep up to date on what is up. Also, on a technical note, it appears that OldSka, the moderator/sponsor of the RSL Supporters League doesn't post in this forum. It would probably thus be easiest to get ahold of him on the X11 forum. Just a thought. 😛
