July 4th Tailgate.

Everyone...
I was wondering what people want to do for the tailgate on July 4th.

I was hoping to set the precedent for what could be a tradition of soccer on the 4th.
Is anyone interested in showing up early?
The normal thing is people show up 2 hours early (in this case 5:30.)
so would it make sense to show up at say 3:30 or 4pm
and have more of a bbq and get together?

I was thinking since it is the 4th and a holiday... people will be involved with family all day... So let us have a typical family style get together but on a larger scale with the Loyalists, RCB and anyone else that wants to can come along.

I would like input. this is what I was hoping we would all do.
Especially since the "worlds largest picnic" thingy by the FO fell through.

any ideas?

I would be all over that. I think I could even get my family to tag along.

I'm actually going to work for a friend that day and won't be getting off until 6:30. (Unless they have mercy on me and let me go early)

If I can get off early I'm there, but maybe don't count on me.

Will you be doing the same sort of thing for the game on the 23rd?

I hope we can... I live on my own so if I can have a family style thing on these days, with the loyalists/RCB, I am all over it.

My son is going to be away with my exes side of the family and he is pretty much my family... well you get the idea...

Looks like I'm bringing one or two kids and no wife. I'm sure she'll be happy to get me out of the house early. I'll be there whenever.... I'll be happy to cook that day, but can't bring any tables. Can someone get with Wayne to see if the car can be delivered earlier?

I'll be there with one of the kids. Let me know if you need me to bring anything or do anything. I'm willing to help out where ever I can.

We will need a table or two, I don't know who normally provides those.

The other big thing is the clean up. We need several people to help with that so that it goes quickly and we can get in to the stadium.
