He will probably not practice with us after this week. He has National Team duty plus if he has signed, but not officially, then he will probably need to get his work visa sorted and move here. I know from personal experience that working with INS is not a fast process. Better that they get started right away!

IMO

You guys are right, unfortunately. RSL just confirmed it. Dang.

At least we only have to wait 6 weeks to find out if he is/was worth it.

If he's going to the Gold Cup and doesn't have a visa yet, it would be pointless for us to sign him right now even if we could, so I guess it's not such a bad thing in the long run.

Your a glass-half-full person, aren't you Nessie?
But you are right. Makes sense to me too.

Yeah, it seems like everything has said "three day trial" in the stuff we've already read. Maybe I'm remembering that wrong. Anyway, he's here to show off his stuff, probably check out RSL a bit, and then he's heading back home for a while. He can return to RSL (assuming that's what everyone wants) in August.

It depends on a) how early in the morning it is, and b) how tired I am.

😎

Okay, but here's the real question that everyone seems to be missing:

Who's going away? Rojas frees up only one slot, so to get another player we've got to give one up. Who's it going to be?:upset:

I think that we may have loaned O'Brien back to Seattle on a permanent basis.
