Paul Broome to RSL

For those who aren't reading the other thread:

He'll play left back and Kamler will move back to the left midfield.

Broome started 20 games last season in LA and played in 22.

Apparently, this is made possible because of waiving Rojas. I think.

Discuss.

We'll see...
When is his first practice in SLC?
What about the Guatemalan who is supposedly staying at the Hilton?

Broome is a journeyman, who spent time in Dallas too (if I remember correctly).

Not particularly big or fast, but is versatile--a lot like Kamler, actually.

He's a good player--solid tactically, an aggressive tackler, a hard worker and a team guy. Broome is a positive addition to the team.

It moves Kamler back to the midfield where he can control the match more. Again, Kamler is my MOTY simply because he's been the most conistent throughout the year in any area. 🤓

If he is anything like Kamler, WELCOME! Don't know much about him. We definately need the help in the back. I agree with fuegote, Kamler has been very consistent.

Kamler consistent? He brings it, that's for sure, but he is definitely NOT a d-mid. He can't hold the ball and has lost it on several occasions. Waaay too many. His marking as a defender is sub-par. His passing is good. He'll certainly be MUCH more effective as a left-mid.

I think Broome will be a good addition.

BTW RSL gave the Galaxy a unknown 2007 draft pick for Broome.

Rojas's waiver only gave RSL the senior roster spot, nothing else.
We still don't know where Rojas might be going.

Can Broome play on the right as well? We just need cover in the back.

This is my question? why go for a journeyman, instead of a young talent?? Does this Broom guy take the spot everyone thought was Gustavo Cabrera's????
