NBA Draft [R]

Sweet. The Jazz get up to #3 by trading only picks, and get Deron Williams. I am pleased. Bogut goes #1, that should make you Utes happy.

I'm glad we didn't have to get rid of Giricek to get the #3, I like his game a lot (though I know many don't)

anyway good job for once Jazz.

Utes were already happy. I don't think I need to explain why.

But Bogut going #1 in the NBA draft--along with Alex Smith in the NFL--just about makes the year perfect.

Rover,
i probably won't see another year like this! Man was it great. undefeated, bcs, #1nfl, #1 bball, sweet 16.....sigh. We'll have good years, but NEVER like this. not even storied programs have ever had this before.

It was an unbelievable year.

I got to see the Utes beat San Diego State in both football and basketball down here, so I was able to see both Smith and Bogut in person. That's more than I could have hoped for, and I have to tell you the Aztec fans wished us luck after the Utes beat up on their teams. They knew something special when they saw it too.

These are the good old days.

Congrats but BYU still has one more football national championship than Utah.

I am also pleased with the Jazz draft.

I realize you guys are all Jazz fans but here in Florida, many of us were surprised (stunned, depressed) to see the Orlando Magic take a spanish international instead of Sean May from UNC.

Did you guys think that was a weird pick too or were you too jazzed up about Deron (who rocks, go Big Ten!) to notice?

Orlando has a team?

Quote from Deron right after being picked: "I'm excited because I know that the Jazz are the only professional team in Utah..."

uh-oh...🙂

Actually I'd have been just as happy to see the two of them both come back to play more year(s) at the "U". However I am very happy for the two of them and hope they both have long healthy careers in the pros.
