How is RSL doing?

Half-way point of the season.

How is RSL doing at this point compared to how you thought they would be doing at this point before the season began?

We're underachieving based on the talent on the team and my expectations of how we'd match up against our opponents so far. We didn't ahvemuch depth (on paper), so we needed to stay healthy to do well.

I expected we'd finish the season a game or two under 0.500, although I admit that would have taken the quick development of chemistry on the team and no major problems with injuries. We have only recently started to see some team chemistry, and injuries have had a big impact, especially on defense.

👍

I was expecting much better performance from our stars than we have seen, so in that respect I am dissappointed. However, there seem to be a lot more factors involved than I was taking into account, so I am perfectly willing to give them plenty of slack. I am excited to have them. And I fully support them. I will do anything in my power to help them.

I am excited at the last two games. I think we're starting to see some of the skill we were expecting. There is still a ways to go, but we're getting there.

Go ReAL!

I wanted them to do better, but we aren't Chivas USA so we are doing about I expected.
IMHO

We are doing what I expected. We are new team trying to get used to each other. Things will slowly get better each game.

I thought maybe another win or so at this point, but selected the choice for what I expected given that we're an expansion team. We really have looked a lot better the last 2 games. Outplayed the Galaxy on Wednesday and could easily have won, played fairly well last night but ran out of gas in the closing minutes. Given the next 2 games are home against the Metros and at Chivas, we should start getting some points and hopefully move back into the last playoff spot in the west.

Were about at where i expected, I was thinking we should make the playoffs though in 4th place! And we are in pretty good position to do that.

Underachieving for sure. This based on the talent level on our roster. We should have a few more points.

About where I expected. We're an expansion team, after all and we're not the 1998 Fire either. I'm hoping for Mathis to explode, he's played below my expectations so far, but I'm still a big Mathis fan. D.J. has been spectacular and more than I've expected. I want to see how Watson does in the long run. If he can keep scoring goals and playing like he does, then he definitely will have exceeded my expectations.
