We are an expansion team within a few points of the final playoff spot in the weak west. We are about where I expected to be, considering how bad the Crapids are.

At my expectations...The D has been solid and may get better with the new additions.
The midfield is a disaster as expected (Cutler shows promise, however).
The forwards are not dangerous...again, as expected.

So what has been learned? There is no excuse for having a piss-poor defense in MLS...you can find defenders for cheap...but good luck getting quality forwards, D-mids, skilled mids, or speed (no other team is willing to give it up).

This is not a situation where the team is learning to gel...this is a lack of talent and speed...mostly speed.
