I own a consulting company that does all manner of nerd goodness. More specifically, Network Design/Deployment, Network Security, and general maintenance of said networks if the need arises.

Most of my time recently has been devoted to my other company, which is a small software development company of nine people. Our current project is a piece of project management software that will hopefully make our competition(MS Project and Primavera) look more like garbage than they already do. Things are wrapping up with that currently, so we're going to find out pretty soon whether I just dedicated the last two years of my life setting up my future, or wasting it away. Wish me luck. :eyebrow:

Good luck! Both my brothers are engineers who took some risks in joining startups and have done quite well. I hope the same for you and your company.

As some of you know, I'm a Marine.

I'm stationed at Camp Pendleton, California. I'm in charge of an inspection unit of 14 Marines that each travel about 150 days a year. Our area of responsibility is from the Mississippi River west, including all our units in the Far East. I've been here about a year after three years in Virginia.

I make people say stuff on the news... Ever seen "Bruce Almighty" some days I feel like doing what Bruce did to Evan.

On the side I write articles about RSL for a wire service/MLSnet.com.

Being that you are a project management expert, I would love to chat with you about your product and how my group might be able to use it.

I am a CPA and the audit manager for a local CPA form and during busy season (some in the tax world refer to it as "tax season" ) we are quite busy. A large portion of my time is spent planning the engagements, and I know that there has got to be something out there that could help us out.

We're too big to use Excel and we're too small to develop our own software. I've tried MS Project and I can't get it to work with my situation.

If you have time when this is all over, I'd love to talk to you in further detail about how your software and MS Project differ just to start.
