A little help please...

This is so silly, really it is. Okay, I wanted to tell all of you that have given me points, rep, whatever you want to call it Thank you! Now, there are a couple that have done this that haven't posted, and so I can't give it back. Is there a way to do this? I guess my whole idea about it is like you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours. Is that the wrong way to look at it?

Okay, if you think I am being silly, blame the pain meds. Serious! I'll be on them a few more days. I had a c-section and a tubal, so I'm extra super dooper sore. Oh and grumpy, ask DadOf8.

Changing subjects, have you guys noticed the cool smilies? I love it!! Have they always been there, or am I just so doped up I didn't notice before hand? Don't answer that...

BTW- this is NOT a 'begging for rep' thread. This is a Lortab thread. 😉

No need to "scratch others' backs" when they give you rep, at least in my opinion. You can hand it out however you want, but I like to give it for good posts - those that make me laugh, or make me think, etc..

As far as the cool smilies, they are new, from earlier this week I believe, so it's not your pain meds talking - at least not for this. 😉

Oh, I see now. I'll understand this 'rep' stuff sooner or later. 🙂

On the other hand, some people do, as you mentioned, and that is okay, too. It's what you want to do with it. But mostly it is to reward something that you think is good. Having a lot of rep is supposed to mean that a lot of people like what you have to say, so maybe it's worth reading. It doesn't ALWAYS work that way, but mainly it does.

And as far as I know, there is no way to rep someone unless they post something.
