Leighton O'Brien on Loan to Seattle
Quote:
Leighton O'Brien, former Sounder and current member of Major League Soccer's Real Salt Lake, will return (on loan) to Seattle this weekend for both games versus Vancouver. The 2002 A-League MVP will see time at his central midfielder position. O'Brien will wear #22.

Maybe he'll get cut and be replaced by the Guatemalan defender? Best news I've heard in a few days!

I think if Leighton stayed in Seattle, where he is wanted, it would be a good thing.
Plus as Beaveman said, it would open up a senior roster spot.
