Favorite Player to date...

So you have had time to see the team in action... plus you know the reputation of several pf the players... who would you say your favorite player is at this point... not necissarily the best, just the one you like the most.

I personally think that Kamler is an awesome player and person. However, I have admired Pope for years... so here is my list.

1. Pope
2. Kamler
3. Watson (Jamie is just a very friendly guy, I look forward to when he earns a chance to step on the field for the senior squad)
4. Rusty (you have got to love the fire that guy has)

WOW... I read that as "Favorite Player you want TO date"... and I was wondering WHY you were posting it. However, here is my list:

1) DJ (best friend was a goalie and DJ seems very personable)
2) Dipsy (maybe it's the name????)
3) Tiger (He gives 110% every game. Gotta respect that)
4) Watson (I was very impressed with Jamie at the Pep Rally)

Overall I think that is why soccer appeals to so many kids and parents. The players are just wholesome people. You don't hear about drugs, alcohol or rape. That's why I don't like the NBA or NFL. I know I'm generalizing, but ....

For the record...

I would not want to date any of the players on any mens sports team...

Sometimes though you kind of miss the double meaning of a headline. :o

Dang, I knew I would miss someone... Tiger duh! The guy is awesome.

I would add Watson, Kreamameyer and Nolly but they don't get enough time (or any).

That last one was a toss up between Pierce and Kreis, but Pierce is just an animal!!! It's hard to only pick 4. Can we pick 11 instead? :D

Pierce - He is a pitbull on defence and I love to watch him play.

Fitzpatrick - his footwork is magic.

Watson - a super, super guy. although the welt is long gone we still laugh about it at practice. definitely a player with a heart.

DJ - He really is clark kent... the kid is superman!

and of course... Pope, Mathis and Kreis!

Well, if I had to date any of the players, it would probably be Pope. The last couple of games have helped me to appreciate why he's regarded as one of the best. Hopefully Rustin doesn't get too jealous.

Most of the single players are too young for me and I'm not Cameron Diaz or Demi Moore, so here are my favorite players *at this point in the season*:

Pope Eddie the 23rd. Like I need to elaborate?
Tiger. As Deuce once so eloquently said, he's GRRRRRREAT!
Jason Kreis. You have to see him play in person to appreciate just how hard he works.
Dunny. Diving headers and dreamboatosity aside, he's added a ton to our back line.

Honorable mention to Rusty Pierce. I'm still working on the "Rusty Pierce For Forward" campaign.

This is actually harder than I thought it would be. There are several players that have impressed me so here they are in no particular order.

Pope
Pierce
Watson
Kreis
Mathis
DJ

But I guess if I had to pick one player's name to have on my jersey, it would have to be Pope. I've really liked him for a long, long time and just feel fortunate to have him on our team. It's great getting to see him play every week.
