He's one sharp cookie. I was kind of hoping that the subtle implications would just wash away, but he was waaaay ahead of me! If I hadn't been so embarrassed, I would have slugged him!

If nothing else, you made me feel better, Jules...........I did ok until Deuce took a pic with me and DJ....I've never seen a bigger sh%#$ eaten grin on my face....its quite embarrassing. "No, honey, I don't have a crush....I swear!!! "The pic didn't help my case!

Glad you had a good time, though!!!!!When do we get to see you pics with the little ones????

I don't think I would feel comfortable being seen in public anymore, Jules, let alone around the players. Sheesh!

Hey, I once told Michael Dowdle that he was a pretty good guitar player, before I knew who he really was. When we care about a celebrity our own self-consciousness is magnified. You shouldn't be embarrassed, at least they know that the fans love them.

Those are great stories Jules, thanks for sharing. Isn't it cool that we can mix family with our passion for soccer?
BTW your boys are very cute!

Thanks everyone. I have been thinking for a while that I should write up a column every week for Neil's website on the "social" side of the soccer, discussing all the funny stuff that happens with the Loyalists, the personal side of the team, etc. It would be a riot. I love to talk about the personal side of things as much as I like to talk about the "No, Cletus should stay in. What position he should play is a better question....." etc.

And thanks, Neil, for the term "crash and burn"!!

:signfreak = Jules
