I hope everyone doesn't turn on Jamie when he can't play for 90 minutes at the same level he has as a sub.

If he comes out and sparks energy in the team early and we actually jump out to a lead i dont think anybody would turn against him, and we dont know if he can go 90 yet or not. If Brown did not start at forward I would rather have Cila.

Even if he does a horrible job, if he can tick off Cobi Jones just one more time I’ll be happy. 😉

Brown is a hustler but the observation from some that there has been a lack of quality crosses coming from his position is very much accurate. Forget about quality crosses, there is a lack of any cross coming from him. I'll tell you why.

The first time I saw him play I knew exactly what we could expect from him. When the ball is played out wide to him he puts his head down and heads straight to the box. He is a bull. I'm not saying Brown is a bad player because of this. Being a bull can be very good in some instances but you don't want a bull out on the wings. You must have your head up to be able to see the entire field when you play on the outside in order to make those quality crosses, this is something Brown just couldn't do. I think putting him up top is exactly where he needs to be. I think this is a very smart move by Ellinger. Let him put his head down and bull his way into the box to create some chances.

Even if he comes and does it for only 45 mins, it's still about 30 mins more than anyone else....

Sparky has excellent aim and Brown has a huge noggin. Together they should be able to convert some sweet crosses.

I really wanna see Sparky make Cobi throw a hissy fit again!

I just have to comment that he did piss off Hartman quite a few times. Go Jamie!

That was absolutely hilarious when he totally got under Hartman's skin for that corner kick. Jamie is awesome!
