sweet!

I am the ANTI BENKE! I am also a big fan of Guatemalan Soccer and i think it would be a great signing. He can imporve our defense, and we are weak, if Behnke is starting, seriously!

And why the heck did tiger have to wait until te 2nd half to play last week? Trade Williams, and work on bringing in another forward.

there have to be some takers! Columbus could be one. Don't they have a whole in the middle?

That was dang funny! "The Anti Benke" - that's great!

Although, I actually haven't minded how he's played the past two games. I think I'd rather see O'Brien go than Behnke (I swear there must be about a million differently spelled versions of this guys name on this forum alone!). Apparently, O'Brien turns it on during practice, but not during actual games. Coach E keeps saying what an awesome player he is, but I've never seen it. Maybe because no one passes to him?

Pass? We are supposed to pass during the games? 😕

AMEN! Behnke sucks. He has made so many mistakes, allowing goals by the opposition. I initially forgave him because I thought he was a rookie, but then I saw that this is his third year!

Chapines rule! I served my mission in Guatemala. My first ward building was across the street from Estadio La Pedrera, and I finished in Coban, home of last year's league champs - Coban Imperial. I would love to see a Chapin play here in Salt Lake. Maybe we should even give Juan Carlos Plata (mormon) a chance. 😉

As for Williams, I would love to see him gone, but who would really take him?

Still don't know if this rumor is true. RSL is denying it.
However if this does happen, it will take up a SI spot. But only Rojas and Dipsy have them (what is Tiger, a Youth International?). We have 2 spots remaining.
I say we can use defensive help, so sure we could use him, but I rather see RSL use these picks on quality midfielders, which we need more desperately.

Yes, he actually scores those little things called goals during practices. Who knew.

Would he be a possible D-Mid?
Just a thought

I disagree that we don't need defenders. It sure would be nice to pick up a quality D-mid or a superstar target forward, but let's be realistic. Improvement is needed and would be welcome at just about any position. Especially with our guys playing out of position. Look at the D from the last game.

Kamler = out of position (natural position = left mid, most likely)
Behncke = out of position (natural position = bench)

And why did we play 3 at the back instead of 4? Could it have been that we were running thin back there? I think it was certainly a factor. Rusty is great back there when he's healthy, but let's remember that he's spent about half of his MLS career injured already.
