If anyone is going to CarSmart today could I ask you a big favor? My wife is still in the hospital with our baby. They'll be released tomorrow. I have a date with her for dinner at the hospital tonight and I will not break the date to go see the players at CarSmart. Would someone be willing to get some autographs for me? I would really appreciate it if you could do this. If it's too much of a hassle, then don't worry about it. If you can, thank you. I'd like to go down there and get my picture taken with some of the players, but I'm sure there will be other opportunities.

If you can't get any autographs tonight, let me know and I'll take something to practice for you one day to have it signed.

I have this essential question of: get WHAT signed? Little pieces of paper? Memorabilia? I'll find some old game-day junk lying around for me probably. But getting autographs isn't too hard, from what I've heard: just wait around after practice one day, etc.

Deuce, do you have any cool pics of players that some of us could get copies of to get signed? (I'd like pics of Mathis, Pope, Kreis, Watson, DJ, errr... and everyone else.) :D

Did you get a set of the playing cards? Or one of those posters? Those seem to be popular items to have signed. Or you could get a RSL ball or a jersey. There are all kinds of options.

Of course, you could always just have them sign your forehead if none of the above work for you. Of course, you'd need a mirror to really enjoy that one. πŸ™‚

Sure any of the pictures I have posted on bradenton soccer should produce a reasonable quality 4x6 print.

Best thing is to copy to a cd or memory card and go to wally world(wal-mart for the un-initiated) and do that Kodak kiosk and print 4x6's
Give it a try.

I guess I could take off work one day and go to a practice. The players are pretty approachable then? I have my white jersey and a sharpie, so I could get my jersey autographed. I also have some of the trading cards. Alianza and Bardguy should have DJ autograph the gloves he gave them. πŸ™‚

The players are very approachable. If you aren't too shy, you could probably get almost every single player's autograph after just one practice. I think Deuce did it once for a photo montage he had put together. Practice is a lot of fun and you should do it at least once. Bring the kids too.

I'm heading down with the family. I'll have my jersey signed as will my daughter. My son will have his RSL T-shirt signed.

On a side note, I just bidded on a set of the RSL cards on eBay. It's probably going to cost me around $10!!!
