Boy it's slow right now

I was on here Friday night and so were tons of other people. Tonight it's kind of dead. Did the San Jose game really take that much wind out of your sails or do you all really have a life outside of this soccer forum? I just finished my homework which is due tomorrow, so I'm happy and I'm rewarding myself by posting.

DadOf8 1 - 0 Homework (This reads, Dad Of Eight 1 point, Homework Nil)

Plus, I'm going back to working days, so maybe I wont be so loopy in the coming days.

Congrats on the 3 points you took from Homework.

You're right--it's slow.

The loss hasn't helped, but it's the five in a row that has affected me. But I refuse to let it get to me. Too much to enjoy about soccer to let a few losses lower my enthusiasm.

Could use a win, though. Or maybe just a goal.

Things could be worse; we could be Chivas fans. But I think you have to be literate to post to a forum. (OUCH!)

Yet here I am. Am I a loser? You know what to do if you think I'm not. 😉

Well its late on Sunday here. Finally posting after a long weekend (it was great).
Now that the festivities of Dad Day are over and everyone is asleep, I can post. 🙂

My kids are too young to buy me a tie. They just take my old ties and wrap them up in newspaper. I even cooked dinner today, BBQ ribs. This is how I relax. I really have no life at all. :D

No he doesn't. He just does the following;
-playing with the kids, walking the dog, working full time, going to school part time, cleaning the house so his VERY preggo wife can relax, making pretty much all the meals(well, 2 on the weekdays, but 3 on the weekends) so that his VERY preggo wife can relax, grocery shopping, laundry, bathing kids, getting kids down for nap/bed, changing diapers....the list goes on!

He has been letting me rest the closer to the end of the pregnancy I get because I have already been in the hospital 3 dang times in labor. He actually doesn't spend as much time on the computer as most would think, so when he DOES get a chance, it's after a long hard day of being both daddy AND mommy. He's awesome!!

*steps down off my soap box and puts it away* :D

For Father's Day, I was able to post to this forum, and my wife didn't even get mad at me!! It was a good day.
