My problem is that I can control my vocabulary pretty well in English. But one of these days, an "Echen ganas, pinches cabrones" is going to come out & Loyal1 is going to correctly throw me out of the section.

Like Bill Shankly (sp?) reminds us, this isn't just a mere matter of life and death, it's much more important than that.

But even so, I don't want my daughter's first words in Spanish to be "Donovan, compadre, anoche tuvimos la concha de tu madre."

If I want to use profanity (and recently, RSL's play has merited it), there's always I 15 & then the Riverside Freeway back to the Riot Squad section.

A couple things:

1. For those who don't know, we in the Loyalist section already DO the last name chant when they are announcing our players.

B. I personally love the European atmosphere, maybe one day it will be like that here, but we have to take one step at a time.

4. We have discussed or done a lot of the things being suggested here, but let's keep talking about them, and continuing to improve our atmosphere.

we dont have to swear to have fun at the stadium, all the chants that I know have absolutely no swear words in it...... all we need is help from the crowd to sound better.... and yes i know that would be hard, but thats why you guys( loyalist) job is for =) keep chanting to the crowd , make/force them to join with you guys.

I don't regularly curse, but I love the chant of "who's your father, who's your father..." that has been directed at the ref. Or "who ate all the pies?..." sung to Zach Thornton. Is "fatherless child" really a curse word?

I swear pretty regularly at the matches, not on purpose, it just flies out of my mouth when there's a bad call or something. I'm weak, what can I say?

I stay pretty reserved on the field since the press isn't supposed to be screaming. I do cheer when we get a goal though.

I had a few people I know that sit in the middle but a few rows back behind the bench bring black streamers. I think they only brought 2 or four streamers, but they were there.

I brought 3 black streamers myself, but was throwing them from the Loyalists section. Were you referring to the "hoity toity" section that Neil sits in? :D
