That was me... how did it sound. (you can mock me now :o ) I was actually nervous to get on the radio. Not sure why.

I hope I got the point across that it was the record we were referencing and not the players.

I don't know what to make of that comment. He kept trying to steer clear of talking about the record, and it almost sounded like he was getting frustrated because it was being brought up. I don't know, I guess that I'd be embarrassed too.

I still haven't figured out why Checketts Jr. is on that show... I think if he would quit trying to relate soccer to basketball and actually learn soccer it would be good. It seems to me that he is trying to make it on the sole merit of the fact he works for team and is an "insider," but he has no real credibility. I really think that the post game show isn't that good... it is nice to have the call in and such, but get someone who can talk soccer intelligently and really break down a game. That said I am glad there is something for post game, but the quality could be a lot better.

Sure black streamers are interesting and yes this is the US, but this is not hoops or pointyball and never will be. That is why I love the sport. We take time to show our support. We also take time to think of a way to show our embarasment, but we still chear our team.

Spencer if you lurk around here... I want you to know that this is America, but this is also SOCCER. Soccer fans are not going to come into a stadium and sit on their hands like they do in other sports. Soccer fans do things to let thier team know they are there. The Loyalists are behind RSL win lose or draw. The Loyalists love their team... they will cheer them on when they do well and when they don't. The Loyalist will commemorate milestones be they possitive or negative. RSL put its name in the record books tonight... it was commemorated. I am sure I don't stand alone when I say I would much rather commemorate Kreis notching his 100th goal, which will happen. The Loyalists will not conform to what soccer neophytes think they should do. This is America, but it is not other sports... It is different. Don't ask us to conform or question our support, rather ask us to help you understand why we do things the way we do.

Every time they have Checketts on the Saturday show he always tries to steer the talk towards bball. Now don't get me wrong I love basketball, but when you are the son of the owner, you probably ought to learn the game so you don't sound like an idiot.

Jamie mentioned that he had a celebration planned for the Loyalists, but just could find the net in the first half. He said that after the play he didn't quiote have the energy to make the sprint to the other end of the field.

Oh I thought that you did fine! I wasn't dissing your comment at all. I just found Checketts response odd, like he didn't know what to say. The whole show he was acting really annoyed at any reference that the host was making to "the record." Then when you called he kind of ripped on our "celebration." He failed mention how loud we were right after, though.

Seriously, don't you think that the boys like playing here? We've got to be the harshest fans in the country. Maybe, what do I know, I only have been to these matches.

It was frustrating to wait that long to get a goal. Frankly I'm amazed at how many people showed up at the match tonight. But thank the great soccer gods that our boys scored and that that enormous, gigantic, 3,000 monkey is gone.

Anyway, good job on getting through. Fuegote got through as well.

So what is going to happen when he reaches the milestone? Didn't the galazonian fan club do something for cartman when he reached a milestone of his own?

Great comments, btw.
